SAAHIP Constitution

The SAAHIP Constitution provides the governance framework for the South African Association of Hospital and Institutional Pharmacists, a sectoral division of the Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa (PSSA). Amended and adopted at the 65th Annual General Meeting on 11 March 2022, the Constitution outlines SAAHIP’s objectives, membership requirements, branch structures, general meetings, National Executive Committee, leadership responsibilities, financial governance and disciplinary procedures. It affirms SAAHIP’s commitment to advancing hospital and institutional pharmacy practice, supporting pharmacy professionals, upholding professional standards and promoting dependable pharmaceutical services for the people of South Africa.
