PREAMBLE:
Quality health care is defined as the degree to which health services for individuals and populations increase the likelihood of desired health outcomes ad are consistent with professional knowledge. This area focuses on pharmaceutical care that is safe, effective, patient-centred, timely, efficient and equitable for the attainment of the objectives of Pillar 5 in the Presidential Health Compact. Pillar 5 of the Presidential Health Compact: Improve the quality, safety and quantity of health services provided with a focus on to primary health care.
